My passion for voice started at 2 years old when my family moved from Sydney to live in Vanuatu (a South Pacific island off the east coast of Australia). I spoke 3 languages, and being surrounded by island culture, people from all over the world and listening to my parents' broad record collection all made me besotted with voices and stories.
I was broken hearted to leave Vanuatu at nearly 8 years old. It was my soul home, my deep love, but I couldn't express that as a little girl. And so that started me on my own journey to find my voice and self-expression in the world. Cut to my career: I started as a professional actor, singer and voice-overs artist, performed nationally and internationally in 2,000 seat theatres, was the guest singer at a VIP Dinner for the Prime Minister of Australia and recorded hundreds of voice overs for leading brands. Twenty years ago, I moved into my deeper passion as a Coach and I haven't looked back! I graduated with my Post Graduate Diploma in Voice from the renowned National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and now work with visionary entrepreneurs, A-list actors, productions and events broadcast to millions. I also teach on NIDA's Masters of Fine Arts (Voice) degree. It brings me such joy to help my clients grow and succeed ... from improving the sound of their voice, raising their confidence, receiving standing ovations and winning awards. |
